A Visit to Your Podiatrist is COVID-Safe
Have you postponed your annual visit with Middlesex County podiatrists Dr. Jason Grossman and Dr. Paul A. Osemene? Everyone should see their foot doctor at least once each year, especially those with diabetes or other conditions that put foot health at risk. Still, many patients have put off scheduling an appointment because of concerns about COVID-19.
There is good news: vaccines are developed and distributed. However, it’s going to take some time to achieve what’s known as “herd immunity,” the high percentage of vaccinated community members needed to return to life as it was before the coronavirus turned our world upside-down. Until then, please rest assured that a visit to Advanced Feet and Ankle Care’s Old Bridge and Sayreville offices is safe. We continue to take steps to keep you safe.
Everyone in the office always wears a mask over their nose and mouth, and we will ask you to do the same.
Our doctors and staff will not shake your hand when introducing themselves, but you can rest assured that, under their masks, they are smiling and happy to see you.
We encourage social distancing in all areas of our office and schedule appointments to help keep patients apart.
Patients are screened upon arrival to ensure that everyone is healthy.
We ask that you come alone if you do not require assistance at your appointment.
Hand sanitizer is always available. You can wash your hands with soap in the restroom.
We have clean pens for your use and encourage you to bring your own if you prefer.
Our exam rooms are cleaned and sanitized between patients.
Remember, your podiatrist is a doctor and is accustomed to going to great lengths to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases. The same practices that may be new to you are old habits for them. Don’t postpone getting the attention you need to keep your feet, ankles, and lower legs healthy and pain-free.
